This year, Parties4Peace will be organizing our ninth year of the PATAGONICA DJ Tour featuring Chilean producer Pier Bucci, the talented Vale Colvin and Christian Voldstad from New York in a series of events in cities throughout Chile and Peru, including Lima, Santiago, Concepcion, Valparaiso, Punta Arenas and Puerto Natales.

Parties4Peace (P4P) is a non-profit event production and fundraising organization that hosts music and art events to support various global initiatives focused on education, sustainability, equality, and disaster relief. P4P unites people to create a culture of peace through dance and music, emphasizing collaborations with those who seek the platform to make a difference.
The PATAGONICA Collective was founded by Parties4Peace in 2008 and organizes a yearly tour of Chile to raise awareness about the joint campaign to declare Patagonia a World Heritage site with the NGO's Peace Boat and CODEFF (National Committee to Protect the Flora and Fauna of Chile).
For 2017, we are delighted to welcome Christian Voldstad from Bespoke Musik in New York City as our guest DJ for the Patagonica vol 9 DJ Tour in South America. Christian acquired his love of electronic while growing up in the UK. It wasn’t until he moved to New York, however, that he would find the sound that captured his attention and inspired him to step behind the decks himself. Since then, Christian has become a staple of the underground scene. His sophisticated taste in music earned him a residency for Bespoke Musik where he continues to explore his love of vinyl records, piano melodies and funky basslines. Together with renowned Chilean producer Pier Bucci and Vale Colvin, one of the most talented female DJs from the region, we will travel throughout South America to exchange music and culture amongst various artists in the region. Inviting artists to experience the pristine nature of Patagonia helps to raise awareness about the current climate challenges of the region and the necessity to protect the glaciers, rivers and mountains.
Peace Boat, an International NGO working to promote peace and sustainability around the world, will dock in Punta Arenas, Chile on February 7 during its current global voyage that will sail through the Patagonia fjords. As part of our longstanding commitment to helping to preserve the Patagonia region, this year we will again partner with Parties 4 Peace , MAPA - Music & Art Peace Academy and the nonprofit CODEFF on the Patagonica Project. This international project combines music, art and activism to work towards protecting the Chilean Patagonia region that is threatened by the exploitation of its natural resources. Peace Boat US Director, Emilie McGlone will lead the MAPA Program onboard the ship together with artists Pier Bucci and Christian Voldstad, traveling from Chile to Peru and Pier will continue on to Easter Island to deliver the Parties4Peace music project with traditional music that we recorded in 2016 during the Patagonica tour.

Cada ano, Parties4Peace, una organizacion sin fines de lucro, se realiza un tour que va por distintas ciudades desde el centro hasta el sur de Chile, entre las cuales estan Santiago, Valparaiso, Concepcion, Puerto Natales y Punta Arenas. Los fondos recaudados a traves de los eventos son donados a la organizacion sin fines de lucro, el Barco de la Paz para crear conciencia ecologica y apoyar a al campana para hacer la Patagonia Patrimonio Mundial junto a la ONG ambientalista CODEFF (http://www.codeff.cl/ )
El protagonista en esta oportunidad sera Pier Bucci, productor chileno, experto en Live Act y con una existosa carrera en el pais y en Europa. Vocales tribales, sonidos techno latinos y melodias locales han cautivado al mundo gracias al sonido unico de Pier Bucci, plasmado bajo los sellos Cadenza, Crosstown Rebels, y por ultimo, con su propia insignia Maruca Music. Desde el ano 2008, cuando Pier Bucci hizo su primer evento con la productora Parties4Peace en Tokio, Japon, ha trabajando junto con la organizacion para apoyar a los proyectos ambientales. Durante su viaje a la Patagonia y Rapa Nui, Pier va a enfocarse en un proyecto musical para grabar sonidos autenticos de la region. En febrero de 2017, Pier va a participar en el viaje desde Valparaiso a Rapa Nui en el Barco de la Paz como invitado y profesor de musica para compartir sus nuevos producciones. En este viaje, también le damos la bienvenida a Christian Voldstad, el DJ residente del sello Bespoke Musik en Nueva York. Christian adquirió el amor para la musica electrónico cuando estaba viviendo en la Reino Unido. No era hasta cuando él se mudó a Nueva York que él escuchó la musica que lo hizo pasar detrás de los decks sí mismo. Desde ahí, Christian se ha hecho un materia prima del mundo underground y un gran entusiasta de las buenas fiestas. Su sabor sofisticado en música ha ganado a el la residencia de Bespoke Musik donde continúa explorando su amor por los discos de vinilo, melodías de piano y líneas de bajo funky.
